Registration Fees range from $1600 to $1800
which includes accommodations for the retreat period, 3 meals a day, water and swimming safety, coral preservation and marine life etiquette instruction,
all retreat programs, and touring transportation. Partial work exchange opportunities may be
available discounting the registration fee by $200.
Accommodations at the Twin Dolphin Retreat: You'll stay in a beautiful retreat home in a quiet tropical setting overlooking the ocean and Kona coast line. The sunsets here are magnificent. The retreat center is 15 minutes from a sandy beach where we often take our morning swims. Accommodations are lovely with modern amenities.
Communal Living: Retreat guests and staff will be living
communally whereby everyone agrees to follow the house guidelines and etiquette established to
maintain harmony, cleanliness and neatness.
Requirements to Attend: You must have a certain degree of
strength and mobility to be able to participate in this retreat. You must also be willing to
abstain from any mood altering substances during the retreat such as alcohol and other drugs.
Tours: In addition to our daily meditations and many
programs, we take our guests to Hawaiian sacred sanctuaries on land and underwater. We walk
through the Po'ohonua O Honaunau (the place of refuge) to hold ceremony on a very important
aspect of spiritual practice, forgiveness. We also visit the most spectacular tropical marine
parks in the world. Here we invite you to snorkel in sacred bays teaming with a large variety of
coral that supports a majestic community of aquatic life. We often see turtles, dolphins and whales
in these bays.
Swims from boats are optional at an additional fee.
Deposits: 50% of your registration fee secures your choice
of accommodations, depending on availability and reserves your place at the retreat.
Balances: Are due 45 days prior to the first day of the
retreat.
Forms of Payment: We accept personal checks and money orders.
Cancellations: No cash refunds are given.
If a guest cancels their reservation they may attend a future retreat, transfer their registration fee
to another person, or apply their payment toward accommodations and/or tours for themselves
and or another party. All transfers must first be approved by Sheoli Makara.
Please Note: November through April is what we call "high season" in Hawaii.
Annual winter travelers and part time residents book their reservations early often taking the best fares and preferred dates.
If you would like to join us during these times, be sure to book your reservations early!! Remember most airlines have
travel insurance if something comes up and you are not able to use your pre-paid ticket.
Meals: Three deliciously balanced gourmet, mostly vegetarian, meals are provided each day, beginning with dinner the first evening and ending with breakfast the last day. We also include fresh local fish
throughout the week. We also cater to those with dietary requirements to support your wellness. The meals are prepared with organic products and balanced to provide nourishment and stamina.
Healthful and yummy deserts are also offered.
Air Travel:
It is recommended that you make your airline reservations as early as possible for the best price
and desired travel dates.
